| DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LAW: We assist victims of domestic violence with most legal aspects of their journey toward feedom from abuse, including Orders Of Protection, divorce, and other family law and related matters. HOUSING & CONSUMER: Our Consumer Law Specialist can provide assistance with landlord/ tennant problems (for tennants ONLY), mortgage forclosures, Fair Lending issues, and consumer fraud. SENIOR CITIZENS: Our Seniors Team can assist Will County Seniors with almost any legal problem or question. PUBLIC BENEFITS: Qualifying clients can receive advice on problems with public aid, food stamps, and other public benefit issues. SCHOOL LAW: WCLAP provides school law assistance ONLY for DCFS wards. DCFS caseworkers should call the office for additional information. |
| WCLAP provides a myriad of other services through Pro Bono advice clinics. WE DO NOT HANDLE: Criminal matters (defense or prosecution), landlords' rights, or income-producing civil lawsuits (for example, personal injury lawsuits) (For more information on which types of cases we are able to handle, please call our office). |
